Important:

Version 8.1.0 of LLEAP contains the following:

• Bug fixes:
• SimMan 3G PLUS is now available in the selection of virtual simulators.
• CPR Guidelines have been updated to adhere to latest guidelines from the European Resuscitation Council (ERC 2021) and American Heart Association (AHA 2020.
• Improvements on how well the Instructor Application GUI scales on computers with display scaling other than 100% (the recommended setting is still scaling at 100%).
• Fix for Patient Monitor and CO2 when usingSimPad.
• Fix for missing pulse control when using SimMom.
• Added static IP address on SimMan 3G.
• Fix for SimMan 3G PLUS PB changes and missing respons in right arm brachial pulse.
• Fix for unaccesible control buttons on computers with low resolution.

Changes from version 8.0.0:

• Support for SimMan 3G PLUS.
• New updater for SimMan 3G simulators, providing a more reliable update experience, and improved progress feedback.
• Support for Nursing Anne Geriatric, allowing Nursing Anne Simulators that are using the new geriatric skin to use geriatric vocal sounds.
• Link Box Classic is no longer supported.
• LLEAP on Windows 7 computers is no longer supported.
• SimMan 3G simulators using Windows XP Embedded is no longer supported.
• New version of SimDesigner:
• Dependency on Microsoft Silverlight removed, so that SimDesigner can be used without Silverlight installed.
• Minor changes to user interface when editing states to make it easier to add many states.
• Missing icons for some heart rhythms added.
• Option to use “external windows” has been removed.
• Bug fixes:
• Fixes a bug introduced in LLEAP 8.0.0 where video recording was not included in the debrief when using SessionViewer and SimView.
• Fixes an issue where the driver for the wifi adapter used with SimMan 3G was missing when installing LLEAP.

  • Microsoft ended their support for this type of network with the release of Windows 8. From Windows 10 on, the equipment will need to use a separate simulation network. Windows Update

• Before installing LLEAP, to secure a successful installation, please make sure the PC is fully updated through Windows Update. If you have problems starting LLEAP after installation, please download and run Visual C++ 2015 redistributable from this location:Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3.. Select and run vc_redist.x86 then try running LLEAP.

LLEAP Patch for 7.3.0

LLEAP Patch for 7.3.0, for older SimMAn 3G who can't use LLEAP 8.0

This update is supplied to fix an issue where chest rise and lung sounds ceases on the SimMan 3G when used with ASL 5000 using a ventilator setting of PEEP 2 cm H2O or greater. The issue can also be resolved by upgrading to LLEAP 8.0.0. This patch should only be used if upgrade to 8.0.0 is not possible, e.g if using older SimMan 3G with XP embedded which is not supported on LLEAP 8.0.0 and onwards.

Important: ASL 5000 plugin needs to be uninstalled before patch installation and reinstalled afterwards. Remember to back up custom lung models when prompted during uninstall process and import again during install process after upgrade to patch.

Note:

SimMan 3G updater might need several tries before the patch is installed on simulator

• New Device Connection Manager (DCM) application to manage network configurations more efficiently on multiple manikins.
• Enhanced support for Enterprise Network Security from SFNW & for SimMan3G with Wifi USB adapter.
• Fixed an issue where SimMan3G system time was not synced.
• Improved simulator connection on networks with high latency.
• Included WiFi driver to LLEAP installer (for SOM on SimMan3G).

Last LLEAP version supporting Windows 7

• LLEAP 7.3 will be the last version that supports Windows 7.

Last version supporting old SimMan 3G family simulators

Due to end of life for Windows XP Embedded used on older SimMan3G simulators, LLEAP will no longer supported as of this version, this applies to the following simulators - unless they have been upgraded to use Windows 7:

• SimMan3G simulators with serial numbers lower than 212-16140000
• SimMan3G Essential simulators with serial numbers lower than 213-16140000
• SimMan3G Essential Bleeding simulators with serial numbers lower than 214-1614000
